They work well in hard to get to areas.
Rats and Mice may consume a lethal dose in one feeding, with the first dead rodents appearing 4 or 5 days after feeding begins.
Cholecalciferol (Vitamin D3) is the new active ingredient in d-CON baits. Humans need Vitamin D3, but mice cannot tolerate it.
There is no need to unwrap the d-CON baits. This new formulation utilizes 99% food grade ingredients, which make this bait so attractive to mice that they will eat right through the wrapper.
The new d-CON bait uses NO anti-coagulants or neurotoxins. Instead it utilizes Vitamin D3 which will not harm humans.
The number of kills you get from each individual d-CON bait will depend on how much each mouse feeds and the size of the mice.
After feeding on the d-CON bait, mice will return to their nest and die later.
Place your d-CON Bait Station where you notice signs of mice (droppings, footprints, gnawing or scampering noises in your walls). Place perpendicular to the wall and in dark corners, such as behind the stove, refrigerator, washer and dryer, or where rodent activity is seen. It is wise to set baits and traps simultaneously in various spots in the home to ensure better control of the problem.
You'll be able to see the d-CON bait through the clear window on your bait station to gauge if mice are eating the bait or not. Once you notice signs of mice feeding on the baits, mouse activity should cease within a few days. If you don't see chew marks on the bait after a few days, try moving it to another area.
The d-CON Refillable Bait Station is child & dog resistant. The d-CON Disposable Bait Station is child resistant. The bait itself is made of Vitamin D3, which is not harmful to humans but can still be very dangerous for pets.
The risk to your pet depends on what type of pet it is, how big it is, what type of bait it has consumed, as well as how much bait was consumed. If a situation occurs, please consult your veterinarian or call the toll free number located on the package and you will be directed to a specially trained individual who will assist in your next steps.
